Two Messy Monsters Play

Enjoy watching the Pekapeka reading group (with Max and Brodie as extras) perform their play.

It is the day of the Book Fair and the twins, Jo and Pete (played by Sophie and Sam) have forgotten. They race to find a costume to wear before deciding to go as monsters. Little do they know there are real monsters in the house! Big sister, Sarah, (played by Isla) gets the blame for the mess created by the monsters. Poor Sarah!

Reading

The kekeno group have been busy reading to learn new facts about kangaroos. They presented their new learning in a fact cube. We think they have shown our school value of excellence when they have made these because they presented them beautifully! Well done Kekeno group! Come into Room 3 to read their fact cubes...

This clever reader is reading a book called Watch Me. It is about tadpoles changing he decided it might be a nice idea to read it to our class tadpoles! I'm sure they enjoyed it! Hopefully it encourage them to change into frogs!!!

Buddy Reading

We are practising reading smoothly and quickly like we are talking. We know that we need to make our reading sound interesting by changing our voices so our buddy doesn't get bored.
